The East Belfast Protestant Boys are a self-taught band; we have never had or indeed been in the position to bring anyone in to teach our members. We are proud of the fact that our members have always had a good insight into the style and progress we have made over the years. But as any other band we are always in the learning zone and if anyone wanting to join the band and help us progress will be more than welcome.
We are always on the look out for new members and if you want to join one of the best bands why not contact the band master John Keenan. This can be done by; calling into to the Union Jack Shop, telephoning the Union Jack Shop (028 9059 2909).
If you are interested in joining one of Ulsterís elite loyalist bands then new members are always welcomed, as said we are always on the lookout for new recruits.
The band practices each Monday night in a room donated by the East Belfast Working Men's Club which is located on Chamberlain Street off the Newtownards Road, for anymore information please contact John Keenan via the contact details listed above.
We also provide learning classes, which can be catered to the membership. These classes are provided to try and learn new ideas and tunes that will benefit the band.
Drumming classes are also provided, these classes combine the drummers and learners in drumming under the close eye of the present bands lead tip drummer.
We are always on the look out for new members who will carry our vast amount of Standards what the band has. We need members who will carry theses flags with the honour and dignity that they deserve.
Once again if any of the above is appealing to yourself and you feel that you would like to approach the band in regards joining, please contact the band master John Keenan. This can be done by; calling into to the Union Jack Shop, telephoning the Union Jack Shop (028 9059 2909).
