Tonight we headed to the Shore road after finishing the parade in Finaghy.
This was our 3rd of the weekend and once again all bands had to suffer the heat.
The City of Belfast Fifes and Drums led the parade towards the Mount Vernon estate. Around 20 bands on show tonight. Freeman Memorial up from Coleraine along with Pride of the Maine who were looking and playing well. There was alot of Belfast outfits out tonight including the Shankill star, YCV Shankill and the Pride of the Shore. Monkstown YCV also out in good numbers. The route heads towards the estate from the main Shore road up to the memorial garden where bands paid their respects to the fallen Volunteers of 3rd Battalion.
Tonight we walked with 11 drummers, 2 bass drummers, 25 flautists and marshalls. We done very well and it was a good decision to wear shirts again.
Thanks to our members for parading a busy weekend and in such hot conditions.
Lest we forget
